Urban Sports Park Appingedam
Appingedam is getting the Urban Sports Park Appingedam (USPA): a place to skate, play sport, and meet each other, designed by young people themselves. Find out how an idea from young people grew into an actual park, and share your ideas on what it will look like.
More than a sports park
The USPA is about more than sport. You can skate, ride the pump track, or train outdoors. But the park will also be a place to come together: to meet up, watch, visit an event, or simply hang out.
That makes the USPA a meeting place for the region, where young and old come together. We are designing it together with international experts from the skate and urban sports world. That makes it a park of international standard, which will also draw athletes and visitors from far outside the region to Appingedam.
